| Father's Day, June, 2004 | Dave Campbell ("Chopper") | Amrhein Winery, Bent Mountain, VA |
|
First live music of Chopper solo at a special Father's Day performance at Amrhein... Addy & her dad's first Father's Day! |
| 2004-2007 | Kerosene Willy, Dave Campbell solo | Roanoke, VA and various locations in Franklin County, VA | Has seen a dozen permutations of the Kerosene Willy lineup, including with other friend Randy Simpson on guitar | First shows... Since Addy was born she's seen her friend "Chopper" (Dave Campbell, father of her friend Sage and husband to Hope) perform solo or with his band on more than a few occasions. Usually it's just snippets and not full sets; lots of dancing and visiting friends. |
| May 27, 2007 | Kerosene Willy | Festival in the Park; Roanoke, VA | Everyone on stage except one had an abdominal or lower injury (three foot/leg and one kidney stone) | First larger concert area; danced like crazy at the front of the stage in her tie-dye (appropriate for Chop's music); full set |
| 7/20-22/07 |
Main stages: Animal Liberation Orchestra (ALO), Bret Dennen, Cracker, Fountains of Wayne, Will Hoge, Suzanne Vega, Grace Potter, Los Lonely Boys, The Smithereens, Dr. Dog, Rhett Miller, lots of kid bands... and more Kids Bands: Steve Pullara & the Cool Beans Band, Buck Howdy with BB, C. Shells, Two of a Kind, Skip Denenberg, John Flynn, John Hadfield, Ernie & Neal. Bubboon & Bubbles, Miss Amy |
XPoNential Music Festival, Wiggins Park; in Philadelphia (actually held in Camden, NJ) |
Realatively rare Bob Mould solo show (he's primarily a DJ now) cancelled due to broken ankle. Rhett Miller added as a surprise fill-in for Sunday. |
Addy's first music festival at age 3 and a half; taken by her Dad and close friend of the family (and Dean's longtime concert-going partner) Brian Pluta; Concert took place at a location where, nearly 4 years to the day earlier, Addy's Dad read fatherhood books while waiting for tickets for a Pearl Jam show with Brian (who was one of the first to know Addy was on the way, told that same day). Met Bret Dennen, most of ALO (Zach, Steve & Dan); Addy got to chat with Zach, get her first setlist (ALO) and stayed at the front row for the whole ALO set. Had photos taken of and with Fionn Regan (female singer in Fionn Regan took to Addy's smile & dance.) |
